Secret Pyjamas: Grasser Sweatshirt Fleece Outfit

Guess who found the best #secretpyjamas!

I am so pleased with my completed core range sweatshirt fleece outfit from Minerva . Having finished the Grasser No. 895 Jumper a few weeks ago, I was determined to make the matching skirt No. 896 to complete the set for the holidays. I have loved wearing the off-the-shoulder sweatshirt in a variety of ways. It does have that ‘next level’ of styling which makes it perfect to wear with a skirt, but it also styles perfectly with boyfriend jeans or leggings and boots.

This is the coziest cotton fleece ever!! It is so cuddly warm and it washes up beautifully. It becomes more and more comfortable with every wash. Using this sweatshirt fleece to make a matching two piece set immediately elevates the look. It will be perfect for Christmas errands and holiday events.

The sweatshirt is perfect with a short leather skirt, over the knee boots and 60’s vintage shell and satin clutch.

There are so many colours to choose from; everyone can find their favourite colour to create your own set of #secretpyjamas.

Both of these patterns are from Grasser Patterns, an independent Russian pattern company. They have an incredible selection of unique patterns with creative design and tailoring. Their prices are very reasonable as well. Their patterns are translated into English and have lots of detailed photographs to help you sew along.

This A-Symmetrical skirt is fun to sew. I love the drape and the pleating details at the hip. Their patterns can be purchased by size and height which is wonderful for me. I only had to length the skirt by 2 inches, instead of 6-7”; a real treat. The skirt has a wide yoke encasing a wide elastic waistband which adds to comfort and fit of the skirt. It is a really fun skirt to sew and I love its original styling.

These patterns offer a nice change from a regular jogger/track suit ensemble. They are incredibly comfortable to wear and fun to style. I highly recommend both pattterns, especially if you are looking for a glam version of #secretpyjamas

After all.. There is Sew Much To Design.

Happy Secret Pyjamas Sewing,

Lou Sheffer
